Tired and still kicking!

So little T gave me a lie in this morning!!! I know it was a shock to me too and on a day where we didn't have to get up early too - BONUS!! It was great, forgot about the night feeds and waking up randomly on and off. What I don't get is why my body hated me.. I mean I had an extra hour sleep, yea an hour, 60 minutes, 3600 seconds and yet I want more?! Bah, silly body be grateful!! We went to adventure babies - for those that don't know what it is, it is story telling through sensory play. We start with a song and bubbles, then have a book read while we play with different items, bits of textured cloths, little puppets, glitter sticks, etc.. It differs depending on what story is being read... Once the story has been read there is little play areas set up all this different sensory items; today there was an area with cloths, books, soft toys/teddies, one with necklaces type bead strings and flashing eye balls that are always looking up - a little creepy but little T seemed to find them funny so sure! There was a dark room tent that had therapy lights and little light up stars in and then there was the messy play area - blue spaghetti!! Again all of these change depending on the story read.. At the end there is a few minutes for babies to lay on their backs or enjoy tummy time while the mummies all did the ''parachute'' there was little bits of fabric dangling from the parachute for the youngens to look at, try reach for and such. Little T hadn't had his morning nap, so was worried he would be grumpy through the class. He wasn't grumpy and he still really enjoyed it!! Got into the story, loved the sense play and even loved sitting in the spaghetti!! real smiles! Is great to see, we have been going since he was 10 weeks old so I maybe addicted more than he is but I just love the way he interacts with it all. Watching him grow as the weeks go by and the stories repeat - so he's playing with the same things but interacting in a different way! It is great to watch and be a part of, or maybe I am just overly sensitive to these things. Who knows and to be frank, who cares! I love it! Got home, Little T had a feed and then he fell asleep as is normal when we go to adventure babies. I have managed to eat my dinner while it was still hot! Have the little burn on my tongue to prove it! Got some housework done and managed to read some of my book. It has been a great day so far.
